After Teams are Selected

After the completion of tryouts, the evaluators and coaches will create teams based on:

1. Athletic ability
2. Ability to be trained
3. Competitiveness
4. Positions needed
5. # of athletes from a single school

The A.C.E. website will be updated the night of the tryout with the first girls selected to each team.  A list of alternates will be included, but they may not be moved to the "made" list until after the second tryout.  If your name does not appear on any list, you have not made an A.C.E. team.  The girls on the "made" list will have the 10-day window to commit to A.C.E., however you may commit as soon as you would like.  Once commitments are made, they will be posted on the website so that everyone may see the availability of spots left for the second tryout.  If a team becomes complete before the second tryout date, a notice will be posted on the website (www.ace-vb.org)

After the teams are selected, a parents meeting will be formed to discuss the teams, player information, other sports, schedules & cost, parent responsibilities, coaches’ responsibilities, fundraising, and grievance procedures.
